European Union congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On behalf of the Delegation of the European Union to the State of Kuwait, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Government and the Kuwaiti people on the 64th National Day of Kuwait and the 34th Anniversary of Kuwait’s Liberation.

The European Union and the State of Kuwait enjoy a longstanding friendship, which is based on mutual respect and constructive collaboration. I would like to offer my best wishes to Kuwait on assuming the rotating presidency of the GCC, and becoming the Arab Capital of Culture and Media. The year 2025 is also a historic one in our relations, as Kuwait will host the next 29th Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting between the 27 European Union Member States and the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries. I look forward to continue working with the Kuwaiti government and people, and I wish Kuwait many more years of achievements and success.
