The EQUATE Group, a Kuwait-based global leader in petrochemicals, has reaffirmed its dedication to deepening its partnership with India’s textile and manufacturing sectors, reinforcing economic ties between Kuwait and India.
For nearly three decades, EQUATE has played a pivotal role in advancing India’s textile industry by delivering high-quality products and services that drive growth and sustainability. This enduring collaboration reflects a shared commitment to mutual prosperity.
With bilateral trade between India and Kuwait exceeding USD 10 billion in 2024–2025, this partnership has gained even greater significance.
The relationship was further strengthened during the historic visit of India’s Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to Kuwait on December 21–22, 2024, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.
Following this milestone, His Excellency Mr. Meshal Mustafa Al-Shemali, Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, met with EQUATE Group executives, including Mr. Ahmad Saud Al-Saleh, Global Business Director, and Mr. Kamlesh Parwani, Regional Commercial Director, to explore opportunities for expanding trade and investment.
“The Kuwait-India partnership is built on decades of mutual respect and shared goals,” said Ambassador Al-Shemali. “EQUATE’s continued investment in India symbolizes Kuwait’s confidence in our growing economic cooperation and shared vision for progress.” Excellency added
Discussions focused on enhancing trade, industrial collaboration, and identifying opportunities for sustainable development and regional integration.
“India is a key partner for EQUATE in Asia,” said Mr. Ahmad Saud Al-Saleh. “We are committed to supporting India’s dynamic economy and contributing to its long-term success.”
Moving forward, EQUATE will continue to work closely with Indian stakeholders, aligning with both nations’ goals for industrial innovation, energy security, and economic advancement.
