EPA conducts field tours of chemical warehouses

The Environment Public Authority (EPA) conducted a field tour of chemical warehouses to streamline the implementation of the Environmental Protection Law No. 24 of 2014, and its amendments.

The Authority indicated in a statement today that these tours aim to ensure that chemicals are managed in accordance with approved environmental requirements, right from the stages of production, to handling and storage.

“This step comes within the framework of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to protect the environment and ensure the safety of citizens and workers in this sector, by monitoring and implementing strict environmental laws on all concerned parties.”
