The Ministry of Public Works said ministry teams are closely monitoring the rainfall situation and are deployed across various areas to look out for any water accumulation and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
The sources confirmed that all highways remain open and passable, noting that there are no water accumulations on major roads. The sources added that only minor incidents of water collection have been reported in some interior areas, which have been handled by emergency teams, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the sources, ministry officials are following developments from the central control room, in coordination with the Meteorology Department, to respond swiftly to any changes in weather conditions.
Road users have been urged to exercise caution while driving, given the unstable weather and the possibility of sudden rain or reduced visibility.
