Egyptian fisherman died; others injured in South Sea boat collision

A deadly collision between two fishing boats in Kuwait’s South Sea has claimed the life of an Egyptian fisherman and left several others injured.

The Coast Guard responded immediately after receiving a report about the incident. Upon arriving at the scene, they found the Egyptian had succumbed to his injuries, while other crew members sustained various injuries.

The injured were taken to a hospital for medical care.

Authorities have registered a case and referred it to the Coast Guard’s investigation unit. Meanwhile, the authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
