Egypt, the Mother of the World—this phrase is uniquely tied to Egypt. The moment it is heard, one instinctively associates it with this remarkable nation. Some say Egypt earned this title as the cradle of civilization, a land that has nurtured all religions and cultures. Others believe it was bestowed upon Egypt due to its mention in the Qur’an as a place of safety and refuge.

All of this, and perhaps even more, justifies why Egypt is a republic suited for all seasons. A visitor need not restrict themselves to just one season, as Egypt is a destination that appeals to everyone.

The first time I visited Egypt as a child, I thought it didn’t offer much tourism suited to my interests. However, when I visited again last November, I was genuinely surprised to discover that Egypt offers every type of tourism, making it suitable for people of all ages.

During my visit, I explored both ancient and modern museums, attended world-class shows, visited art galleries and exhibitions, and enjoyed both academic and popular theater performances. I listened to orchestral music, attended premiere film screenings, and wandered through shopping malls, downtown areas, and local markets.

I sipped coffee in modern cafes and enjoyed tea in traditional settings like Al-Hussein. I attended Brazilian, Dutch, Korean, and Arab festivals and events, walked along the Corniche, dined in upscale restaurants, and tried light snacks by the sea.

I rode horses and camels in the desert, experienced tuk-tuks and carriages in the streets, and captured photos at the pyramids. My experience was truly comprehensive, blending literature, culture, and art with commerce, tourism, and entertainment.

Indeed, Egypt is undeniably a distinguished tourist destination.
