Education Ministry study shows each student cost exceed 21,000 dinars in public schools

A recent comprehensive study by the Ministry of Education has revealed that the total financial cost of educating a student in Kuwait’s public-school system from kindergarten through high school amounts to 21,143 dinars for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to the study, kindergarten education incurs the highest cost, reaching 6,955 dinars per student, followed by the primary level at 4,995 dinars, the intermediate level at 4,809 dinars, and the secondary level at 4,384 dinars, reports Al-Anba daily.
The report also examined costs in British-style schools, showing a total of 19,500 dinars per student from kindergarten to secondary school.
Among these, secondary education ranked as the most expensive at 5,700 dinars, followed by middle school at 5,200 dinars, primary school at 4,800 dinars, and kindergarten at 3,800 dinars.
