“Education Ministry” opens ‘Learner Care Centers’ across all educational regions
Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Education launched ‘Learner Care Centers’ across all educational regions for the academic year 2024-2025. These centers aim to provide accredited educational support to both struggling and outstanding students, helping them enhance their academic performance and develop their skills in well-equipped, accredited facilities.
The Ministry stated in a press release that the Learners’ Care Project is one of the key and successful initiatives, which is designed to benefit students by addressing their needs. The project utilizes well-equipped and accredited centers to enhance their academic performance and resolve academic challenges, moving away from conventional methods.
Additionally, the Ministry affirmed that the centers offer parents the opportunity for their children to benefit from specialized support. This is being done with the aim of improving the performance of struggling students and helping them reach their highest potential. Furthermore, the centers focus on nurturing outstanding students, enriching their knowledge, and further enhancing their excellence.
Concerning availability of these centres, the Ministry explained that the student care centers have been distributed across all educational regions, which are in accordance with the approved systems and regulations, considering factors such as student density and ensuring they are located in geographically appropriate areas.
Whereas, the Ministry explained that registration in the centers is offered at symbolic prices and covers subjects for the intermediate stage, including Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science. For the secondary stage, the subjects offered include Arabic, English, Mathematics, Sciences in all branches, Social Studies in all branches, and French.
The Ministry urged students wishing to register to choose the appropriate center for them. Since studies at the centers will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM, Sunday to Wednesday, with a three-hour session each day.
