Education Ministry launches Expo 965 to celebrate heritage and handicrafts

The Ministry of Education is hosting the Expo 965 exhibition, highlighting heritage, crafts, and creative artists. The event was inaugurated under the patronage of Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaei and organized in coordination with the Kuwait Heritage Society at the ministry’s headquarters.

The exhibition will run until Wednesday, with the participation of Acting Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi and Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad.

The exhibition aims to preserve national heritage and promote traditional handicrafts, while providing a platform for local creators to showcase their work and exchange experiences. It offers a comprehensive national platform that combines authenticity and creativity, reflecting Kuwait’s rich cultural identity.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to collaboration with local educational and cultural institutions, fostering a sense of belonging and national identity among students. By introducing students to Kuwaiti folklore and traditional crafts, the Ministry seeks to connect the past with the present through modern educational approaches and encourage student participation in cultural activities.
