“Education Ministry’ confirms no vacation suspension for employees with revoked nationalities

The Ministry of Education confirmed that no bulletins, circulars, or directives have been issued regarding the suspension of leave for male and female employees whose nationalities have been revoked.

The ministry clarified in an official statement that it had taken legal actions against certain school principals who had independently implemented measures that violated work regulations.

Moreover, it was noted that some schools had issued internal bulletins without any official circular from the relevant authorities, whether from the concerned sector or the educational region. The ministry emphasized that these circulars lacked a legal basis.

Regarding assurances, the Ministry of Education reiterated its full commitment to the directives and instructions of the political leadership concerning employees whose nationalities have been revoked.

The Ministry also emphasized its ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and ensure compliance with the regulations and laws governing work across all educational sectors. It highlighted the importance of cooperation between school administrations and the relevant authorities to maintain an organized work environment, safeguard everyone’s interests, and ensure the fair application of the law.
