The Ministry of Education has opened learning centers across educational districts to support students with homework, remedial lessons, and exam preparation. The program, running until mid-May 2025, aims to improve academic performance at affordable prices.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Education, as part of its commitment to providing a stimulating learning environment that supports academic achievement, has opened learning centers in all educational districts. The study program began in March 2025 and will continue until mid-May 2025.

The Director of the Learner Center at Asma Bint Abi Bakr Intermediate School for Girls in the Hawalli Educational District, Maryam Shaghouli, confirmed that the learner care centers offer educational support in a well-organized school environment.

These centers assist intermediate school students with homework, provide remedial lessons and educational notes, and help prepare them for exams at nominal prices and convenient times. Shaghouli explained that the centers aim to offer educational opportunities to both struggling and high-achieving students, who can register through the Student Affairs Office.

Shaghouli added that the ministry considers student density in classrooms, ensuring that no class exceeds 15 students to maintain the quality of education and maximize benefits. She also noted that the fee for each subject is KD 25, with a reduced fee of KD 20 per subject for two siblings who register.

The subjects taught include Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science, with classes held on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
