Early retirement for educational specializations explored in Kuwait

Specializations from waiting lists at the Civil Service Bureau will be appointed in small batches based on demand which include Islamic education, social studies branches, geology, kindergarten teaching for females, physical education for males, and more.

Sources informed Al-Anbaa newspaper that graduates from the Faculties of Education at Kuwait University and Basic Education will receive appointments at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training.

Sources explained that specializations listed on the waiting lists at the Civil Service Bureau will be appointed in small batches according to demand. These include Islamic education, various branches of social studies, geology, kindergarten teaching for females, physical education for males, and others.

Responding to a query regarding the handling of surpluses in certain educational specializations among current workers, the sources mentioned that there is a proposal to implement early retirement. This matter will be given priority on the agenda of the new Civil Service Council.

Regarding the transfer of governorate employees and their distribution to government agencies, sources stated that the implementation of these transfers is pending a decision from the Civil Service Council. It also requires approval of the grades to ensure they are placed in equivalent financial and functional grades in the government agencies to which they are being transferred.
