Dusty winds reduce visibility as meteorology extends weather advisory

The Meteorology Department has warned of active northwesterly winds across the country, with gusts potentially exceeding 60 km/h, raising dust and sand and leading to reduced horizontal visibility in several areas, particularly open and desert regions.

The department extended the duration of its weather warning until 5:00 pm, revising an earlier forecast that had indicated conditions would ease by 2:00 pm, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to meteorologists, daytime conditions are expected to be cool to cold with partly cloudy skies, while chances of rainfall will gradually diminish. Nighttime weather will remain cold, with the possibility of light fog forming in some areas.
