Dust storm engulfs Kuwait
Kuwait was hit by a dust storm today, that significantly reduced visibility in several regions.
According to weather expert Salah Al-Ansari, the high humidity levels prevailing in the country over the past few days played a crucial role in the formation of rain clouds, particularly in the northwest.
These clouds triggered strong downdrafts, exceeding wind speeds of 90 km/h, resulting in a wall of dust that swept through areas like Roudhatain and Jahra.
Additionally, there is a possibility of scattered rain, accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.
Sea conditions are also expected to be affected, with wave heights reaching more than 6 feet.
