Indian violin virtuoso to enchant audiences at JACC
Audiences in Kuwait are all set to witness Indian violin virtuoso Dr. Lakshminarayana Subramaniam, and his son Ambi Subramaniam, perform live on stage in Kuwait for the first time at the prestigious Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre (JACC) on Monday, 18 November.
Organized by Indian Business and Professinal Council under the patronage of Indian Embassy, the event is expected to provide audiences with the rare opportunity of hearing the eminent violinist, composer and conductor perform in person.
A musical genius in his own right, Dr. Subramaniam, has made an indelible mark on the world of violin through his unparalleled artistry and innovative approaches. His journey from a child prodigy to a global icon is a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence and his deep love for music.
He is also credited with changing the entire concept of the violin’s role in the Indian orchestra and transformed the status of violin from a background accompanying instrument to the fore to be played alongside vocals, flute, veena and other instruments.
Guests can expect a musical extravaganza of Indian classical music for the first time at the JACC with a fusion of violin, mridangam, tabla, ghatam and morsing weaving a magical and unforgettable evening that is bound to impress.
Dr. Subramaniam in a shorttête-à-tête with The Times Kuwait said that he was delighted to perform in Kuwait for the first time and promised an enchanting evening.
