Dr. Al-Tabtabaei inspects grade 12 exam committees in Farwaniya

In a calm and well-organized educational setting, Minister of Education Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei went on an inspection tour today morning, visiting several Grade 12 examination committees in the Farwaniya Educational District to assess the progress of the second-semester exams for the 2024–2025 academic year.

In a press statement, Minister Al-Tabtabaei emphasized the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to providing a supportive and disciplined environment for students during the exam period. He stressed that creating equal opportunities and a reassuring atmosphere is a top priority, reaffirming the Ministry’s readiness to offer all necessary logistical and technical support, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Tabtabaei praised the strong efforts of school administrations and the national inspectors, noting the high level of organization and the students’ clear adherence to rules and regulations—demonstrating their awareness of the critical importance of this academic milestone.

He highlighted that the Ministry operates according to a unified, forward-looking vision with all educational teams working collectively to support students. The Ministry, he said, has mobilized its full resources to ensure a model exam environment free of any disruptions.

The Minister reported encouraging signs during the initial days of exams, including increased student attendance and a significant drop in exam suspensions compared to the previous year.

He attributed this to students’ growing awareness and commitment to exam rules. Al-Tabtabaei expressed hope that the number of deprivation cases would continue to decline throughout the remainder of the exam period.
He underscored that the instructions related to exam regulations are clear and strictly enforced, and that school administrations and exam committees play a vital role in upholding exam integrity and fairness.

Al-Tabtabaei also commended the Ministry’s dedicated teams working in collaboration with educational districts to ensure the highest standards of discipline—not only in managing the exams but also in grading and review processes. He noted that answer sheets are being marked promptly, following rigorous and transparent mechanisms that guarantee students’ rights.

The concerned educational teams, he stated, operate with full impartiality and professionalism, adhering to standardized procedures that promote objectivity and fairness. He affirmed that the Ministry closely monitors every phase of the exam process and takes all feedback and complaints from the field seriously.

Speaking about the students, the Minister described Grade 12 pupils as the “elite of Kuwait’s youth” and emphasized the vital role they will play in shaping the nation’s future. He encouraged students to believe in themselves and continue striving for excellence, noting that exams are not an end, but a stepping stone to broader academic and career opportunities.

Concluding his remarks, Minister Al-Tabtabaei wished all students success, affirming that their achievements are the result of persistent effort throughout their academic journey. He expressed pride in the dedication shown by students and their families and voiced confidence in Kuwait’s youth to excel in various scientific and professional fields. He also offered a prayer for the continued safety and prosperity of Kuwait, its leadership, and its people.

Meanwhile, Mr. Fahid Al-Ajmi, head of the examination committee at Al-Sabah Secondary School, explained to ensure a smooth experience, the school implemented strict student seating arrangements and prepared additional venues such as the auditorium, the physical education hall, and designated special needs committees—helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for all examinees.
