Domestic labor network expands to 457 licensed offices

The Public Authority for Manpower noted that the administration issued six new licenses for the profession and reported receiving 400 complaints from both employers and workers.

The Public Authority for Manpower reported twentylicense suspensions last month, with four cancellations, forty one renewals, and seventeen suspensions lifted.

The authority urged employers of domestic workers to obtain information from official channels rather than relying on social media, in order to protect their rights.

 

The Public Authority for Manpower reported that twentylicenses were suspended last month, according to the latest statistics from the Domestic Workers’ Organisationand Recruitment Department. Additionally, fourcancellation requests were received, forty one licenses were renewed, and suspensions were lifted for seventeenlicenses, as reported by Al Anba newspaper.

The authority noted that the administration issued six new licenses for the profession, bringing the total number of domestic labor recruitment offices to 457. It also reported the registration of 400 complaints from both employers and workers.

The authority urged employers of domestic workers to obtain information from official channels rather than relying on social media, in order to protect their rights. It encouraged both employers and workers to approach the administration to resolve any issues within the legal framework.
