Dispute between two female inmates ends in crime at Central Prison
A case was registered and referred to the Public Prosecution after one of the two inmate poured hot water on the other.
A security source told Al-Rai that a criminal case was filed and referred to the Public Prosecution following a dispute between two inmates at the central prison. During the altercation, one inmate poured hot water on the other, causing severe burns.
According to the source, the incident occurred when a dispute arose between two inmates in one of the wards at the central prison.
One of the inmate boiled water using an electric kettle and, ignoring the other inmate, poured the hot water on her, causing severe third-degree burns.
The injured inmate was immediately transferred to the hospital, where she was placed under observation.
