Deputy Amir receives Alphabet CIO Ruth Porat at Bayan Palace
His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Ruth Porat, Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet Inc. (Google’s parent company), and her accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace this morning, marking the occasion of their visit to Kuwait.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening economic and technological cooperation between Kuwait and leading global tech firms, reports Al-Rai daily.
In attendance were Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar, Assistant Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, and Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Mazen Al-Essa.
