Defense Minister meets UK trade envoy, strengthens bilateral ties
Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, received Lord Ian McNicol, the Trade Envoy of the United Kingdom to Kuwait, at Bayan Palace during his official visit to the country.
The meeting featured friendly discussions covering topics of mutual interest between the two nations, reports Al-Rai daily.
Also present were Lieutenant-General Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Shuraian, Chief of the General Staff of the Army; Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshaal Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense; Ambassador Sadiq Mohammed Marafi, Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs; and Mr. Qudsi Rashid, the newly appointed UK Ambassador to Kuwait.
