Deceased Indian’s body identified through DNA testing, body to be repatriated today

The employee who died in the fire at the NBTC residential center in Mangaf has been identified as Mr. Kaluka (32), a native of Darbanga, Bihar, through DNA testing. NBTC authorities had brought brother Shahrukh Khan to Kuwait for DNA testing procedures.

Kaluka, who was an employee of NBTC for the past seven years, was currently working as a salesman at the NBTC Highway Center. NBTC HR & Admin Corporate General Manager Manoj Nanthiyalat informed that the process will be completed and the body will be sent home today (Monday) night itself.

The body will be brought to Patna via Mumbai by Air India flight at 8.15 pm today. NBTC informed that, all the arrangements have been made for Kaluka’s brother to accompany the dead body on the same flight.

Along with this, the NBTC immediate financial assistance fund of INR. 8 lakh for the families of deceased employees will be handed over to Kaluka’s family tomorrow. Also, NBTC handed over the amount required for the funeral ceremonies to Kaluka’s brother.

The NBTC also informed that the details of the distribution of INR. 8 lakh as an immediate financial assistance to the families of all those who died in the Mangaf fire and the details of the distribution of INR.25000 for funerals have been shared to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

There are currently 6 employees in the hospital, including 3 employees who are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
