Dasman Diabetes Institute’s Mobile Clinic Visits Sahela Bint Saad Intermediate School for Girls

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness in the community, Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI), established by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), organized a field visit on board its mobile diabetes clinic to Sahela Bint Saad Intermediate School for Girls in the Zahra area.
The outreach aimed to enhance health awareness among students and teachers and encourage them to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle. During the visit, DDI’s team conducted basic medical screenings and distributed educational brochures and leaflets covering important topics on diabetes prevention and the importance of regular checkups.
The event also witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who were encouraged to explore science and develop their passion for learning and discovery, through the joint participation of DDI’s Mobile Clinic and the Science Bus operated by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, creating an engaging and educational experience for all.
