
Aspire Indian International School marked the 4th DAS Cares Initiative Programme on 1st May 2025, in honor of World Labour Day , celebrating the dignity of labour and the spirit of giving. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Ms. Stephanie Mathew (Head of Sustainability and Strategic Growth), Mr. Sundaram (Corporate Manager), Mr. Toby Mathew (Activity Coordinator), Ms. Sujata Sivakrishnan (Principal, Indian Central School), Mr. Noel, Ms. Shaini, Ms. Shyamala, Ms. Julie(Vice Principals ICS), Ms. Ayesha, Mr. Ahsan Raza (Vice Principals, PES), Dr. Geetika Ahuja (Principal, AIIS), Dr. Alice Abraham Kisku (Vice Principal, AIIS), and Mr. Adel. Their presence, alongside dedicated teachers, staff and vibrant students of AIIS and its sister schools elevated the occasion and reinforced the school’s commitment to compassion and social responsibility.
The programme featured inspiring speeches, soulful performances and a heartfelt skit honouring community helpers. Highlight was the distribution of care packets, each containing essential items such as household goods, groceries, stationery items, basic medical kits, and essential health and hygiene items, to beneficiaries, led by the chief guests, symbolizing collective gratitude and solidarity.
More than 500 kits were distributed to deserving and hardworking community workers. Gratitude cards, hand-crafted by students were included in each kit to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the labourers and workers who were among the beneficiaries. This initiative exemplifies how small gestures when carried out with sincerity and community spirit can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who support and sustain us every day. The event fostered a culture of empathy and respect, uniting students, staff and community members in meaningful action. DAS Cares continues to nurture the values of charity and inclusivity, making a lasting impact on all involved.
