Abdulrahman Al-Houti wins ‘Law Firm Leader of the Year’
Dar Al-Muhama honored at the LAW.COM Awards ceremony

Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Houti, CEO and Managing Partner of Dar Al-Muhama Law Firm, Kuwait, has been named Law Firm Leader of the Year at the LAW.COM Middle East Legal Awards 2026.
The recognition comes as Dar Al-Muhama continues to develop its role in the legal profession through professional training, knowledge sharing and collaboration with specialists, with a focus on meeting the changing legal and commercial needs of businesses. “Our experience should benefit our clients and the next generation of lawyers,” Al-Houti said following the award.
Alongside its legal advisory work, the firm focuses on legal technology and artificial intelligence, collaboration in Islamic finance, practical legal training and engagement with in-house legal leaders. These areas form part of its efforts to strengthen legal expertise, share practical knowledge and address emerging issues affecting businesses and the wider legal sector.
Al-Houti said the firm measures its progress by the quality of its advice, its understanding of clients’ needs and its commitment to developing its people. “I judge our progress by what happens in the firm itself. Have we understood what the client really needs? Have we given them advice they can use to make a decision? Is a colleague better equipped to take responsibility today than they were a year ago? Those are the questions I keep coming back to. Answering them takes sustained work,” he said.
He added that the firm aims to extend the value of its experience beyond individual client matters through training, practical insights and specialist collaboration. “Every matter we handle adds to our experience. We want that experience to reach further through practical training, useful insights and collaboration with specialists. That is the direction we are taking at Dar Al-Muhama, step by step,” Al-Houti said.
Thanking his colleagues and clients following the recognition, he said the award reflected the commitment behind the firm’s daily work and the trust it had built with those it serves. “I am delighted to receive this recognition, and I know how much everyday work sits behind it. I thank my colleagues for their commitment and our clients for their trust and for the difficult questions that keep pushing us to improve,” he said.
