India’s pioneering Indi-Pop singer, musician, songwriter, composer, performer, and entertainer par excellence, Daler Mehndi, continues to defy standards and reinvent his music.
Mehndi, who inherited a legacy of music from his family, is endowed with versatile, powerful vocals and a dynamic spirit. From his humble yet celebrated folk debut with ‘Bolo Ta Ra Ra Ra’ to the glitter and glam of the rocking ‘Ho Jayegi Balle Balle,’ from the internet phenomenon ‘Tunak Tunak’ to the elegance of ‘Ru-Ba-Ru,’ and from the patriotic ‘Rang De Basanti’ to the mysticism of Sufi ‘Bismillah,’ his music exemplifies aesthetic excellence.
