Czech Republic Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the government and the people of the Czech Republic, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, and His Highness Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day.

These two days represent pivotal moments in Kuwait’s history. More than three decades ago, the Czech forces worked together in an international coalition to liberate Kuwait, and to protect principles of freedom and sovereignty on its territory.

The Czech Republic put solid ground to the friendship, mutual respect and cooperation in relations between the two countries and these principles will continue and deepen in the coming future. I look forward to the celebrations, when Kuwaiti pride is even more visible in every home, on every building, and on every street.
