‘Customs Department’ conducts course on radiation protection
The General Administration of Customs conducted a training course on ‘Radiation Protection Procedures’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Prevention Department. The course, led by Dr. Nasser Al-Juwaisri, took place at the Training Center in Customs Zone 3.
The Customs Department announced that the course aligns with legal requirements for radiation protection programs. It aims to train and qualify technical teams within the General Administration of Customs to distinguish between hazardous and non-hazardous radiation and to respond effectively to radiation emergencies.
At the course’s conclusion, the Director General of Customs, Abdullah Al-Sharhan, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and encouraged continued collaboration for the benefit of Customs personnel.
