CSC unveils digital banking procedure for new-hire Kuwaitis in govt jobs

The Civil Service Commission today (Thursday) announced the launch of a new, streamlined mechanism to facilitate the process of opening and linking bank accounts for newly appointed Kuwaiti employees in government institutions that operate under the integrated systems platform.
According to a statement published on the Bureau’s X platform, the new system is designed to simplify salary transfer procedures for new hire, according to Al-Rai daily.
Once a Kuwaiti citizen is appointed to a government job, he/she will receive an authentication notification via the “My Identity” (Hawiyati) mobile application.
This notification will prompt the employee to either approve or reject the process of opening and linking a bank account designated for receiving their monthly salary.
The initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance digital services, reduce paperwork, and ensure faster and more secure processing of financial entitlements for newly hired public sector employees.
