CSC extends contract to two years for women with revoked nationality

The Civil Service Commission has issued a new circular addressing ministries, government institutions and state-owned oil companies, announcing a change in the terms of employment for women whose Kuwaiti nationalities have been revoked under Article 8 of the Nationality Law.
According to the circular, the employment contract period for this group of people has been extended from one year to two years.
This adjustment applies to all relevant government institutions and affiliated entities and is aimed at streamlining administrative procedures and ensuring more stable employment arrangements.
The decision reflects ongoing efforts to standardize contracting procedures and address the unique legal status of persons affected by Article 8.
