CSC declares Sept 4 public holiday for Prophet’s birthday

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Sunday that Thursday, September 4, 2025, will be a public holiday across all ministries, government agencies, public authorities, and institutions in observance of the Prophet’s Birthday (1447 AH).

Regular official working hours will resume on Sunday, September 7.

The Commission noted that agencies with special work requirements will set their holiday schedules in accordance with the public interest.
