The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will soon issue an official circular detailing the public holiday schedule for Arafat Day and Eid Al-Adha for the Hijri year 1446.

In accordance with the Cabinet decision issued during its session on April 29, work in all ministries, government institutions, and public bodies will be suspended on the occasion of Arafat and Eid Al-Adha, sources informed Al-Anba.

The official holidays will span from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, 2025. In addition to Monday, June 9, 2025, which will be designated as a day off in lieu of Friday, June 6. Regular working hours will resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

The circular will also clarify that government institutions with special operational requirements will have their holiday schedules determined by their respective authorities in public interest.

Meanwhile, the CSC reiterated its earlier announcement regarding six automated services now available to government employees.

These services include procedures for employment status amendments, appointments, external transfers, experience calculations, job title changes, and end-of-service settlements.

The CSC highlighted its commitment to transitioning toward a paperless system. These services were originally announced on the CSC ‘X’ platform on April 30.
