Crown Prince visits Expo 2025 Osaka, praises Kuwait pavilion for showcasing national achievements

As part of his official visit to Japan, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah toured the Expo 2025 Osaka site, accompanied by Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, members of the official delegation, and Kuwait Pavilion organizers.

His Highness began the tour with a visit to Japan’s national pavilion, where he received a detailed explanation of its cultural and historical displays. He then visited the pavilions of GCC countries—Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain—reviewing their strategic development projects, reports Al-Rai daily.

His Highness concluded the tour at Kuwait’s pavilion, where he was presented with a comprehensive overview of the country’s achievements in economy, energy, environment, education, and cultural heritage. He expressed admiration for the pavilion and appreciation for the efforts of those involved in presenting Kuwait’s image to the world.

Minister Al-Mutairi described the Crown Prince’s visit as a source of pride and motivation, reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to cultural diplomacy.

He emphasized that the Ministry’s 2021–2026 strategy aims to enhance Kuwait’s cultural and media presence globally, support national identity, and empower creative talents as ambassadors of Kuwaiti heritage.

The Kuwait Pavilion, designed to reflect innovation and cultural authenticity, highlights Kuwait’s forward-looking vision while honoring its deep-rooted traditions.
