Criminal Court sentences Al-Moussawi’s killer to capital punishment

The Criminal Court, presided over by Counselor Nayef Al-Dahoum, has sentenced the defendant in the murder case of Kuwaiti traveler Hani Al-Moussawi to death after the shocking crime in Jabriya stirred public outrage.

Attorney Hassan Al-Moussawi, representing the victim’s heirs, welcomed the swift and firm decision, saying, “May the soul of the deceased, Hani Al-Moussawi, rest in peace, reports Al-Rai daily.

“My respect and appreciation go to all segments of Kuwaiti society for their sympathy with the victim’s family and their firm stance against this heinous crime.”

The case had drawn widespread attention across Kuwait, with many expressing ‘solidarity’ with the victim’s family and calling for justice to be served swiftly.
