Crackdown on fake products intensifies in Jahra governorate

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today that 11 stores in the Jahra Governorate have been shut down for selling counterfeit goods.
According to a statement posted on the Ministry’s X account, the closures were the result of ongoing market inspection campaigns targeting violations of commercial laws, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The authorities confirmed that legal measures have been initiated against the offending businesses as part of efforts to protect consumers and combat the circulation of fake products.
