Crackdown in Kabd: Agriculture authority detects violations in livestock pens
Inspection raids expose breaches, legal action taken, PAAAFR warns of zero tolerance

The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fisheries Resources, through its Animal Production Sector, has uncovered a number of violations during inspection tours of livestock pens in the Kabd, as part of an intensified campaign to tighten oversight and enforce regulatory compliance.
The field inspections were carried out by the Kabd Livestock Farms Monitoring Department of the Animal Production Administration, targeting livestock pens to ensure adherence to approved regulations and operational requirements governing animal production activities.

During the tours, inspectors documented multiple violations, issued the necessary seizure reports against offenders, and initiated legal procedures in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and bylaws, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Department of Animal Production stressed that inspection tours will continue on a regular basis, as part of ongoing efforts to raise compliance levels, preserve public order, and safeguard the public interest.

In a clear warning, the administration called on all livestock owners to strictly adhere to approved regulations and requirements, stressing that failure to comply will expose violators to legal accountability and punitive measures.
