Cooperative Union ensures continuous, high-quality egg availability
Gharib Al-Adhan said that the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies is committed to providing the necessary support to egg supplier companies to help them overcome any challenges they may face, in order to serve the interests of all parties.
Gharib Al-Adhan, President of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies, emphasized that the union is committed to ensuring a continuous supply of high-quality eggs in sufficient quantities to all outlets, without any disruptions affecting product availability or consumers, Al Rai newspaper reported.
Al-Adhan stated, after his meeting with representatives of egg supply companies, that “the meeting focused on discussing the best solutions to develop and facilitate the egg supply process,” noting that the union is committed to providing necessary support to supplier companies to overcome any challenges they may face, in order to serve the interests of all parties.
In a statement following a meeting with the Poultry Federation and its President, Azara Al-Husseini, Al-Adhan praised the practical solutions agreed upon to ensure the availability of eggs in all cooperative outlets.
Al-Husseini expressed his gratitude to the Ministers of Trade and Social Affairs for their continuous attention and close follow-up to ensure the stability of the local market and the availability of essential goods for both citizens and residents.
Three terms of the agreement
- Forming a specialized committee to directly follow up on the egg supply process.
- Appointing a liaison officer to facilitate communication between the supplier companies and the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies.
- The union’s commitment to monitoring the effective implementation of the proposed plans and solutions.
