Constitutional Court upholds vacant land monopoly law in Kuwait

The Constitutional Court has rejected all appeals challenging the constitutionality of the law regulating the monopolization of vacant land.
As a result, the law remains fully in force, and its provisions concerning monopoly and vacant land will continue to be applied across the country.
This decision reinforces the legal framework aimed at preventing the hoarding of undeveloped land and ensuring its proper utilization in line with national development objectives, reports Al-Rai daily.
The ruling is expected to maintain stability in land regulation and support ongoing government efforts to manage urban development and real estate markets effectively.
