Completion of automated link between Ministry of Social Affairs and Banks

The Director of the Charitable Societies and Endowments Department at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Abdulaziz Al-Ajmi, revealed the completion of the automated link between the ministry and local banks regarding granting prior approvals for internal disbursements.

Al-Ajmi explained that this comes out of the ministry’s keenness to expedite the approval mechanism and prevent the disruption of the work of the societies and their projects.

He also stressed to that the system will be launched and implemented effectively starting in the middle of next week. Also Al-Ajmi vehemently denied that its goal is to restrict societies, “but rather to protect them from making any mistakes that may affect them in the future or harm charitable work.”
