Committee says fuel prices to remain unchanged through March 2026

An oil sector source has revealed that the committee tasked with reviewing state-provided fuel subsidies has decided to keep gasoline prices unchanged from January 1 through March 31, 2026.
Speaking to Al-Anba, the source said the price of Ultra gasoline (98 octane) will remain at 200 fils per liter, while Premium gasoline (91 octane) will continue at 85 fils per liter. The price of Special gasoline (95 octane) will also remain unchanged at 105 fils per liter.

The source added that the prices of diesel and kerosene will likewise be maintained at 115 fils per liter throughout the same period.
The decision comes as part of the government’s periodic review of fuel pricing mechanisms and subsidy policies, aimed at balancing price stability for consumers with broader fiscal considerations.
