Committee formed to review and list all appeals in Court of Cassation

President of the Court of Cassation, Counselor Adel Borseli, has issued a decision to establish a special committee tasked with conducting a comprehensive inventory of all appeals and case files currently before the Court of Cassation.
The committee will be chaired by Ahmed Al-Amer, Supervisor of the Court of Cassation Clerks Administration, and will include several members from the court’s administrative staff.
Its mandate is to carefully review and categorize all pending appeals according to their respective types — criminal, administrative, civil, commercial, labor, personal status and family cases, as well as judicial personnel requests, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the decision, the classification will be based on the actual procedural status of each appeal within the court system. The aim is to streamline court processes, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and enhance administrative efficiency.
The committee has been given a deadline of one month from the date of the decision to complete its work and submit the results. This initiative marks a step toward greater transparency and operational organization within Kuwait’s highest court.
