Cloudy days with scattered showers cooler nights until Sunday

The Meteorological Department expected the country to witness scattered rains that will be sometimes thundery, lasting until dawn next Sunday, with winds mostly light to moderate and southeastern speeds sometimes active.

This weekend, the weather will be mild and partly cloudy during daytime, and moderate to cold, in the night.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Meteorological Department, told Kuwait News Agency, that the country is affected by a low atmospheric extension on the surface of the earth, accompanied by an atmospheric depression in the upper atmosphere.

This helps in the formation of low and medium clouds that are interspersed with lumbular clouds, which leads to opportunities for scattered rains that are sometimes thundery during the weekend.
