Civil Service Commission decouples job appointments from specific agencies

Sources at the Civil Service Bureau confirmed that the registration date for job seekers, starting on June 21, will not undergo any amendments and will span two weeks.

Al-Anbaa newspaper’s sources at the Civil Service Bureau confirmed that the registration date for job seekers, starting on June 21, will not undergo any amendments and will span two weeks.

Sources explained that, based on current statistics, about 7,000 citizens are awaiting registration. This includes male and female graduates of the second semester of Kuwait University, colleges of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, local and foreign private universities, and other categories of non-graduates who meet the registration conditions.

The sources revealed that several reasons prompted the Civil Service Commission to cancel the link between the appointment of citizens wishing to be employed and a specific government agency.

Sources explained that this decision was made for several reasons, including avoiding disruption in the nomination of citizens to another government agency if there are needs for their specialization.

Additionally, it prevents disruption for those registered after them, granting them the right to nominate as well. There’s also a necessity to meet the needs of government agencies for those registered.

As for individuals with specializations that are not currently needed by government agencies, their files remain in the office, awaiting matching needs from these agencies.
