Civil Service Commission Declares January 18 a Public Holiday for Isra and Miraj
The Civil Service Commission of Kuwait has announced the suspension of work across all ministries, government agencies, authorities, and public institutions in observance of Isra and Miraj for the year 1447 AH.
According to the announcement, Sunday, January 18, 2026, will be an official public holiday, with official working hours resuming on Monday, January 19, 2026.
The commission added that entities with special operational requirements will determine their holiday schedules through the relevant authorities, in accordance with public interest considerations.
