Citizenships to be withdrawn, revoked in multiple cases for several reasons

The Supreme Committee for Citizenship Investigation, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, convened today to review a number of citizenship forgery cases.
Following the meeting, the committee decided to proceed with the withdrawal and revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship in several instances.
The decision will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for final approval, reports Al-Rai daily.
Those who are expected to lose their citizenship are those holding dual nationality; those who obtained through fraud, false statements, or document forgery; those who are a threat to the national interest and of those whose actions are deemed harmful to loyalty to the country.
