CID men probe death of expat worker hit by crane operator
An Asian, born in 1997, has been detained on the orders of investigators at the Al-Qashaniya police station as the concerned authorities are looking into his possible involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident.
This happened after the operations room of the Ministry of Interior received a report of a workplace accident at a company in the Al-Rawdatain area. Security personnel arriving at the scene found that another Asian expatriate, born in 1996, was fatally injured after he was hit by a crane, reports Al-Anba daily.
Investigators were immediately notified and conducted an on-site inspection. A traffic case was filed, and the Criminal Investigation Department was tasked with determining whether the incident involved any criminal suspicion.
