CID men bust illegal alcohol production facility inside a rest house in Kabd

Personnel from the Public Morals Protection and Human Trafficking Department of the Ministry of Interior, have busted an alcohol production facility operating inside a rest house in the Kabd area.
The Ministry of Interior said the raid was carried out based on precise intelligence and extensive investigations, which confirmed the site was being used as a fully equipped factory for manufacturing alcohol, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The facility was fully equipped with specialized tools, bottling equipment, and large quantities of bottles and labels designed to closely resemble those of imported alcohol brands, intended for illegal sale inside the country.
The security authorities have taken into custody all individuals running the operation and have seized significant quantities of alcohol-filled bottles ready for sale.
This is in addition to empty containers and machinery used in the filling and packaging process.
All those arrested along with the confiscated items have been referred to the authorities for legal action in accordance with the law.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its firm commitment to continuing security campaigns and stressed that it will not tolerate any illegal activities that threaten public order and community safety. It also emphasized its determination to pursue violators and bring them to justice without leniency.
