Central Agency urges quarterly reports on actions for revoked nationalities

The Central Agency for Illegal Residents’ Affairs called on all ministries and government agencies to appoint a liaison officer to facilitate communication with the agency.

  • The Central Agency for Illegal Residents’ Affairs provided the concerned agencies with the names of a new group of individuals whose citizenship was recently revoked, directing them to take the necessary measures against these individuals and their children.

The Central Agency for Illegal Residents’ Affairs has recommended that relevant authorities produce a quarterly report on actions taken for individuals with revoked nationalities, following discussions with various government agencies about addressing their conditions, the Al Rai newspaper reported.

The Central Agency also issued a recommendation requiring all concerned parties to refer to the agency regarding individuals with revoked nationalities. It called on all ministries and government agencies to appoint a liaison officer to facilitate communication with the agency.

The agency confirmed that these recommendations are based on Cabinet Resolution No. (296) of 2024, which assigns it to coordinate with government agencies and other relevant bodies to organize, amend, and monitor the conditions of individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been withdrawn. It appreciated the ongoing cooperation with the agency to achieve the public interest.

In a related context, the authority provided the concerned agencies with the names of a new group of individuals whose citizenship was recently revoked, directing them to take the necessary measures against these individuals and their children. The authority also reminded them to disregard any documents issued by these individuals in their previous capacity, considering them null and void.
