Capital Markets Academy signs MoU with KCST
Yesterday, the Capital Markets Academy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST), in the presence of representatives of both parties. The memorandum was signed by Abdulaziz Al-Badr, Director General of the Academy, and Dr. Khaled Al-Buqaeen, President of the College.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Abdulaziz Al-Mishaal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Academy, and members of the Board of Trustees. Capital Markets Academy aspires to raise the bar, to be one of the finest academies that trains graduates to be best in class of finance and capital markets. It aims to offer professional training and research facilities, to qualify and raise the efficiency of cadres working in the financial sector through specialized programs in developing investment skills, bringing the academy at par to the best in class.
The memorandum of understanding between the two parties falls within the framework of establishing cooperation, in terms of raising public awareness of securities activity, the benefits, risks and obligations associated with investing, to transform into a leading regional financial center with a favorable investment environment.
In addition, the MOU would facilitate the objectives of the National Authority’s project to enhance financial inclusion and investment awareness among various segments of society, including KCST’s training center with strategic partnerships in rehabilitation fields, especially cybersecurity and technology sciences.
