Capital Governor highlights importance of cooperation in completing Damascus Street project

Saturday evening, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, Governor of the Capital conducted an on-site inspection of the Damascus Street development and rehabilitation project, accompanied by Eid Al-Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works.
During the visit, the Governor was briefed on the ongoing implementation phases, which are steadily progressing toward the project’s full completion. The Damascus Street project is considered one of the most strategic infrastructure initiatives, designed to modernize the road network, improve traffic flow, and enhance the safety of road users, thereby positively affecting the daily lives of citizens and residents.
Governor Al-Ali, during the visit, emphasized that enhancing cooperation and integrating efforts among relevant authorities is a cornerstone for completing vital infrastructure projects on schedule. Such collaboration, he added, is key to meeting traffic demands and supporting the objectives of Kuwait’s 2035 development vision.
Sheikh Al-Ali praised the Ministry of Public Works for its dedication to implementing and developing infrastructure projects in accordance with the highest engineering standards.
