CAP Kuwait participated in ‘Inventing the Future’ symposium in Moscow

The symposium brought together over 100 countries to discuss the future of society, science, technology, culture, and diplomacy.

  • Experts from various fields, including scientists, engineers, diplomats, and business leaders, engaged in forward-thinking dialogues at symposium, exploring how to shape a Multipolar world.

The Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) Kuwait, proudly participated in the ‘Inventing the Future’ symposium, held from November 4 to 6, 2024, at the National Center Russia, in Moscow.

The event brought together participants from over 100 countries, offering a dynamic platform for forward-thinking discussions on the future of Society, Science, Technology, Content, Culture, and Diplomacy.

On the first day of the symposium, Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, welcomed guests and participants during the ‘Future of a Multipolar World’ session.

The symposium featured over 60 sessions in innovative formats such as design workshops, debates, and strategic discussions. Experts from diverse fields, including scientists, engineers, diplomats, business leaders, and from creative field, engaged in forward-thinking dialogues, exploring how to shape a Multipolar world, and address key issues in Society, Science, Technology, and Culture.

On the final day, the symposium concluded with the ‘Prospects of the Future’ plenary session, featuring a keynote from, H. E. Denis Manturov, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister.

Representing CAP Kuwait at the symposium were, Ofelia Vardanyan, CAP Manager, and Dr. Sahar Al-Huneidi, Cultural Adviser.

Dr. Al – Huneidi contributed actively to the discussions on museum diplomacy and the future of international cooperation, offering valuable insights into the evolving role of museums and cultural institutions in fostering global partnerships.

All the discussions as part of the ‘Museum A Place Where the Future is Shaped’ were moderated by, Elizaveta Likhacheva, Director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, who guided the conversations with cultural leaders from around the world. Together, they explored innovative approaches to museum diplomacy and the future of cultural exchange.
